The national institutions had been carrying out investigation against the corrupt elements, he said talking to a private news channel.

The minister said the Supreme Court had taken notice of fake account being used in money laundering and formed a joint investigation team (JIT) to probe the matter.

He said the JIT had published the names of corrupts elements in its report and after that their names had been placed in Exit Control List (ECL).

He said if these elements were found guilty in their cases then it would be a mega corruption scandal in the country.

Ali Muhammad Khan said all the corrupt elements would be punished as per law.
