Local residents were delighted after the snowfall broke the prolong drought. There was increased demand for fish, eggs, tea and kahwa after the snowfall.

According to Met office, the Wednesday's minimum temperature was recorded at -4 centigrade in Quetta and -11 centigrade in Zairat.
