ISLAMABAD: National Assembly Speaker Asad Qaiser and Deputy Speaker Qasim Khan Suri have condemned assassination of former Member of the National Assembly Ali Raza Abidi by unknown assailants.

In their separate statements, they also expressed grief over the sad demise of Ali Raza Abidi.

They said that the elements involved in the incident wanted to sabotage peace in Karachi and asked the law enforcing agencies to arrest them and bring them to justice.

They prayed to Almighty Allah to rest the departed soul in eternal peace, and grant courage and strength to his bereaved family to bear the lose with equanimity.
