Indian troops killed six Kashmiri youth in Indian Occupied Kashmir’s (IoK) Tral area of Pulwama district on Saturday.

The Kashmiri youth were killed in Arampora area of the district during a search operation conducted jointly by Indian army paramilitary Central Reserve Police Force and Special Operation Group, Kashmir Media Service reported. Following the killings, the mobile internet services were immediately suspended in the district by the authorities.

Earlier on December 15, the Indian forces had martyred 10 Kashmiri youth in Pulwama district. Over three dozen Kashmiris were also injured when the Indian troops fired at protesters in Kashmir.

Condemning the innocent killings by the Indian troops, Prime Minister Imran Khan had called for India to allow Kashmiris to decide their future.

The premier had also telephoned United Nations Secretary General Antonio Guterres and urged him to stop India from carrying out state repression, violence and brute force against the Kashmiri youth. The premier also made it clear to Guterres that the situation in IoK was unacceptable.
