HYDERABAD: The Sindh High Court has directed Badin district police to publicize the photographs and identity information of the 3 persons who are missing since May, 2017.

The Hyderabad Circuit Bench here Wednesday also put on notice the officials of a government and a private bank to explain why the salaries of 2 of the missing persons were not being deposited in their accounts.

The petitioners' counsel advocate Ali Palh apprised the court that 4 persons were missing from Badin the same time but one of the them, Ghulam Raza Jarwar, returned in September this year.

According to him, Aziz Gurgez, Ali Ahmed Bughio and Shadi Khan Soomro were still missing. He complained that the salaries of Bughio and Soomro were not being deposited in their accounts.

The SHC asked the Managers of the 2 banks to appear before the court and explain the reason in that regard.

The court noted that since the disappearance, the Joint Investigation Team (JIT) held 8 meetings to trace the missing persons but could not find a clue about their whereabouts.

The SSP Badin district informed the court that all possible measures were being taken to trace the men. The court adjourned the hearing to January 15, 2019.
