Governor seeks Saylani Trust's guidance on project of 5mn houses

KARACHI: Governor Sindh, Imran Ismail, has invited the Saylani Welfare Trust to provide guidance on construction of five million houses and said the trust will be provided land to build houses to give the same to the needy.

He said this while addressing a ceremony of handing over keys of 92 flats to low-income group people from Saylani Welfare Trust Hyderabad, said a statement here on Monday.

The foundation laying ceremony of 200 flats under "Saylani Apna Ghar Scheme-III" was also organised on the occasion.

Federal Minister for Water Resources, Faisal Wada, Members Provincial Assembly, Haleem Adil Sheikh and Nadeem Siddiqi, Chairman Saylani Welfare Trust Bashir Farooqi and other notables were also present.

He said that he was impressed with the welfare activities which he have witnessed in Bahadurabad Karachi and termed it as top example of serving the humanity.

The Governor called upon the Saylani Welfare Trust to cooperate with regard to Shelter Home project, which, he said they wanted to work on it immediately.

He also appreciated the apartments built by the Saylani Welfare Trust for low-income group.
