Governor for improving literacy rate of Balochistan

QUETTA: Balochistan Governor AmanUllah Khan Yasinzai Monday said private educational institutions should cooperate with the government to improve the literacy rate in the province.

Addressing an annual award distribution ceremony of Iqra Residential School and College, he said teachers had an important role in any society and they should had to taught the students about ethical principles besides education.

The students should also participate in extra-curricular activities for tackling future challenges, he added.

The founder of Masoom Education Complex Dr. Masoom Yasinzai, Rector International Islamic University Islamabad, a number of educationists, teachers, parents and students were present on the occasion.

The governor said the Masoom Educational Complex would get status of University soon, adding, it had become major educational institution of the province in very short time.

He said students belonging to poor and middle class of the province were getting standard education in this educational institution.

The governor congratulated the position holder students and their parents.

Later, he distributed laptops among the students on their best performances. Earlier, Dr, Masoom highlighted the importance of education and the role of Educational Complex.
