05 Dec, 2018

"A treaty between the two countries cannot affect the international status of an issue recognized by UN through its several resolutions to be resolved according to the aspirations of the people of the dispute territory," Masood remarked while talking to a Faculty member of Al Azhar University Professor Dr. Hina Abdul Fateh here Wednesday.

“Does this agreement allow India for mass killings of innocent people in Jammu and Kashmir," Khan questioned while responding a question.

He said Kashmir was not constitutional part of India rather was a disputed territory which had still to decide its future according to true aspirations of the people of Jammu and Kashmir.

India was trying to suppress the humanitarian issue through use of brutal forces and was miserably failed, he remarked.

He said India was occupying this territory against the will of its inhabitants and had turned it into a prison by use of force which had been involved in grass human rights violations.

He deplored that international community was miserably failed to take cognizance of its brutalities.

Masood Khan said Muslim countries particularly the Arab world should take a cognizance of Indian brutalities on Kashmiris and must exert their pressure on India to stop such inhuman acts.

He said Pakistan and People of Jammu and Kashmir had been firmly supporting the Palestine issue claiming it as their own issue but unfortunately but Arab countries despite having cordial relations with India didn't play their role or use their influence on India to resolve this issue peacefully.

He said Pakistan always tried to resolve this longstanding issue peacefully through democratic and diplomatic channels contrary to India which was trying to suppress the issue through use of brutal forces and large scale killings and was failed miserably.
