ISLAMABAD: Chaudhry Hilal Asghar, an independent candidate has won the Punjab Assembly Constituency PP-118, Toba Tek Singh-I by-election by securing 55,286 votes.

According to unofficial results issued by Returning Officer on Sunday, Asad Zaman of Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) finished second by obtaining 50,097 votes.
