As per weekly report issued by Prevention and Control Program for Dengue in Sindh, as many as 12 new dengue fever cases were recorded throughout the Karachi city in a week.

No new case was reported from others districts of the province.  In October, a total 16 dengue positive cases were reported from Karachi city.

This year, a total 999 dengue cases were surfaced across the province out of them 944 in Karachi and 55 from rest of province. Five new dengue positive cases were also reported in the city on first day of October.

A death was also reported from dengue in Karachi city this year so far.
