Heatstroke claims three lives in Karachi

Death toll reached to three in Karachi as moderate heat waves Saturday claimed another life in Garden area. The temperature soared to 39C in the metropolitan city on Saturday. According to Met Office, Karachi will remain in the grip of very hot weather with temperature expected to rise till 40C. In a statement, Met office said that Karachiites could suffer from heat wave due to rising temperature and advised citizens to remain indoors, avoid sun exposure and ensure maximum use of water. It further advised citizens to stay under shed during the day time.
