Over 50 injured in critical condition

Over 50 of the 370 wounded people in Lahore suicide blast are still reported to be in a critical condition. Police have handed over around 60 bodies to their families after post-mortem. Till Monday morning, 106 people who had received minor injuries were later discharged but 76 men, 47 women and 49 children are still being treated in the hospitals.
Up to 66 dead bodies (33 men, seven women and 26 children) were also shifted to the hospitals. 18, 122, 46, 20, 70, 59 and 35 victims were shifted to the Mayo, Jinnah, Services, Sir Ganga Ram, Lahore General, Shaikh Zayed and Farooq hospitals respectively.
Specialised Healthcare and Medical Education Secretary Najam Ahmad Shah has already declared emergency in all public hospitals, with some of them carrying out numerous surgeries and with some people giving blood donations to save lives. Health Advisor Khawaja Salman Rafiq and Secretary Health visited the hospitals on Monday while PML-N leader Hamza Shahbaz and MPA Majid Zahoor visited the Services Hospital. Hamza said, "The brutal beasts targeting innocent children, women and men in the park deserve no leniency and such a cowardly act is highly condemnable. Those responsible will not escape the law and they will be taken to their logical end."
