Upward trend on grain market

An upward trend was witnessed on the wholesale grain market on Monday in the process of moderate trading, dealers said. On the cereals side, Urad Burma gained Rs 800 to Rs 6800, Barley Sindh and Mardan followed same pattern, picking up Rs 150 to Rs 3350, they said.
On the grams side yellow peas Russia was up by Rs 100 to Rs 4350, they said. On the rice sector, Irri-6 Sindh low type was higher to Rs 2970 and good variety rose by Rs 40 to Rs 3050, they said. On the seeds side, cottonseeds oilcakes with bag Sindh new low type picked up Rs 100 to Rs 2000 and the good quality was higher by Rs 50 to Rs 2100, Til regular low type was up by Rs 150 to Rs 3150 while best type was unchanged at Rs 3500, they said.
