Upward trend on grain market

An upward trend was witnessed on the wholesale grain market on Monday in the process of trading, dealers said. On the cereals side, Moong Afghan was higher by Rs 1750 to Rs 12000, other commodities maintained overnight levels, they added. On the seeds side, cottonseeds oilcakes with bag Sindh new low quality was up Rs 80 to Rs 2080 and the best quality, however, shed Rs 15 to Rs 2100, they said. Prices were unmoved on the rice and grams sectors, they said.
