Sindh Minister for Home, Prisons, and Anti-Corruption Suhail Anwar Siyal said on Tuesday that Sindh government decided to restore border security force to ensure that terrorists could not enter from inter-provincial borders. "Sindh Government decided to restore border security force because terrorists involved in Jacobabad bomb blast came from Mastung area of Balochistan," he said while briefing media after apex committee meeting at DIGP office here.
He said that border force would be deployed on Kambar-Shahdadkot and Kashmore districts' borders where pickets would also be established and all people would be physically checked. "All credit goes to the army chief General Raheel Sharif for restoring peace in Karachi but his job extension decision will be taken by the Prime Minister," he said answering a question.
Siyal said it was wrong perception that PPP or Sindh government were against the Karachi operation, adding they were completely against terrorism which also claimed precious lives of PPP Chairwoman Benazir Bhutto. He reiterated that Karachi operation began with the consent of all stakeholders in which Pakistan Army, rangers and police were taking part with joint co-ordination. He also refuted the allegations that Sindh government was interfering in the inquiries being conducted against Dr Asim.

Siyal further said that he had no confirmed reports whether three or four bandits had been killed in the Shikarpur operation, adding Fazila Sarki will soon be recovered. He said Market police station of Larkana will be made a model police station where a facilitation center will also be established.
"Police headquarters will be constructed in Kambar-Shahdadkot, Matiari, Kandhkot, Tando Allahyar and Tando Muhammad Khan and development schemes will also be initiated through ADP in these districts," he said adding that these were new districts.
