On Monday, at Pakistan Mercantile Exchange (PMEX), value traded was PKR 6,748 million. The number of lots traded was 32.26 million. PMEX Commodity Index closed at 2,607. Major business was contributed by gold amounting to PKR 6,292 million followed by crude (PKR 377.33 million), silver (PKR 72.86 million), red chilli (PKR 4.23 million) and cotton (PKR 2.17 million).
