Licence of motorcycle spare parts dealers cancelled: FBR informs customs

The Federal Board of Revenue (FBR) has conveyed to the Collectors of Customs that the licence granted to all Pakistan Motorcycle Spare Parts Importers & Dealers Association as a trade organisation has been cancelled by the Ministry of Commerce. In this regard, the FBR has issued instructions to the Chief Collectors of Customs and Model Customs Collectorates (MCCs) here on Saturday. According to the FBR, the Board has communicated notification F.No 21(01)/2015 dated 22nd December, 2015 issued by Directorate General of Trade Organisations (Office of Regulator of Trade Organisations), Ministry of Commerce to the MCCs for information.
The notification said that in exercise of the powers conferred by clause (c), sub-section (1) of section 7 of Trade Organisations, Act, 2013, the Federal Government has cancelled, with immediate effect the licence No 123, granted to All Pakistan Motorcycle Spare Parts Importers & Dealers Association, as a trade organisation under clause (q) of sub-section (2) of section 3 of Trade Organisations Ordinance, 2007 (Now Trade Organisations Act, 2013, it added.
