On Wednesday, at Pakistan Mercantile Exchange (PMEX), value traded was PKR 3,256 million. The number of lots traded was 11.45 million. PMEX Commodity Index closed at 2,515 level. Major business was contributed by gold amounting to PKR 2,439 million followed by crude oil (PKR 713.63 million), silver (PKR 101.28 million) and cotton (PKR 1.63 million).
