Falling trend seen on grain market

A declining trend persisted on the wholesale grain market on Monday in the process of modest trading, dealer said. On the cereals side, Guwar Sindh lost Rs 100 to Rs 3600 and Rs 3700 due to easy supply position, Gur also shed the same amount to Rs 5800 and Rs 6200, they said. On the grams side, Bajra low type shed Rs 100 to Rs 2900 while the best quality was unchanged at Rs 4400, they added. On the seeds front, cottonseeds oilcake with bag Sindh low type was down by Rs 100 to Rs 2000 and fine quality was lower by Rs 50 to Rs 2150, they said. Prices were unmoved on the rice side, dealers said.
