Falling trend seen on grain market

A falling trend was seen on the wholesale grain market on Saturday in the process of modest trading, dealer said. On the grams side, gram Australia No 1 was lower by Rs 350 to Rs 8400, grams Dall Australia No 2 dropped by Rs 400 to Rs 10000, yellow peas Russia also shed Rs 25 to Rs 3925, they added.
On the seeds front, castor seeds Lasbela low type was down by Rs 300 to Rs 2500 and the good quality was down by Rs 400 to Rs 2600, castor seeds Sindh quoted lower at Rs 2200 and Rs 2300, Lakhra lost Rs 400 to Rs 2600, cottonseeds oilcake with bag Sindh low type was down by Rs 50 to Rs 2100, while the best quality was unchanged at Rs 2200, they said. Prices were unmoved on the cereals and rice sides, dealers said.
