Hyderabad Chamber of Commerce and Industry (HCCI) president Goharullah and members of the chamber have made an appeal to Sindh governor, Sindh chief minister, provincial secretary of local bodies and DG Rangers to remove encroachments over allotted plot of the chamber on Auto Bhan road, according to a press release issued on Sunday.
They expressed grave concern over inordinate delay in handing over it to the chamber by Hyderabad district administration.
They stressed that the plot should be handed over to the chamber so that it (chamber) could start construction on it as present building of the chamber was located in rich populated area and in the heart of the city as Prime Minister, President, ambassadors, top government officers and other important figures had to face problems to approach the chamber because of the security concerns.
The said that if it was built on Auto Bhan Road, the cited above dignitaries could easily reach at the chamber.
They said that this plot was approved for chamber secretariat on Auto Bhan road Latifabad, Hyderabad by meeting of the Sindh cabinet presided over by former Sindh governor.
They demanded that Hyderabad district administration must hand over it to chamber to construct chamber secretariat as early as possible and start work there.
