Federal cabinet has approved the suspension of President National Bank of Pakistan (NBP) Saeed Ahmed from his post on Tuesday.

As per media reports, the decision was taken after recommendations from the National Accountability Bureau (NAB), in a meeting presided by Prime Minister Imran Khan. Meanwhile, in a number of key decisions taken by the cabinet, Mohammad Suleman Khan goes to resume the charge of new Director General of Intelligence Bureau (IB).

Whereas, Mehar Khaliq Dad Lak is appointed as national coordinator of National Counter Terrorism Authority (NACTA) and Muhammad Jehanzaib has been appointed as chairman of the Federal Board of Revenue (FBR).
