Ratio of various crimes in Capital witnesses upward trend

Despite tall claims of police, the ratio of various kinds of street crimes including auto theft, robbery, snatching as well as kidnapping of women, fatal road accident and cases of cheque dishonoring, witnessed an upward trend in federal Capital during last week.
In just last seven days, various police stations in the city registered nine cases of auto theft including bikes, six cases of robbery, three cases of road accidents in which five people were killed, six cases of kidnapping of women and seven cases of cheques dishonoring during last week. The most favourite areas for robbers and auto thieves were within the limits of Sabzi Mandi, Kana, Aabpara, Karachi Company and Kohsar police stations.
Sabzi Mandi police registered two cases each of fake cheques and motor vehicle theft and a case of robbery. Ikram Elahi of Sector I-10/1 informed Sabzi Mandi police that his maid stole gold ornament and Rs 1500,000 cash. Auto thieves stole a bike AEQ-912 from Sector I-10/1 and lifted another bike ADL-624. Kana police registered two cases of robbery and one case of road accident. Naseer Ahmad Qureshi informed Kana police that unknown robbers snatched his mobile phone and Rs 20000 cash from him at gunpoint.
Aamir Bin Akam informed Kana police that unknown robbers stole gold ornament, cash and other valuables worth Rs 7500,000 from his house. Muhammad Ehlaq informed Kana police that Suzuki van hit his nephew, killing him on the spot. Aabpara police station registered two cases each of kidnapping and cheque dishonoring and a case of auto theft. Sajid Karal informed Aabpara police station that Danish Younus and Farhat Hayat kidnapped his daughter. One Sobia Asharaf lodged a complaint with Aabpara police station that his four-year-old son was kidnapped by his husband Anwar Alvi. Auto thieves stole a Mehran car (LZT-7352) from polyclinic hospital parking.
Two cases of auto theft were reported to Karachi Company police station during the last week. Auto thieves stole a bike (ABQ-440) of Zeshan Ali from sector G-9 Markaz of Rs 50,000 while lifted a bike RIV-4516 from PIMS parking. Kohsar police registered three cases of fake cehques and one case each of auto theft and robbery. Auto thieves stole a Carrola car (LU-065). During the last week Bara Kahu police registered two cases of cheque dishonor, Margalla police station registered one case of fake cheque and kidnapping of a women, Shamas colony police station registered one case of road accident and Lohi Bheer police ststion registered one case each of robbery and cheque dishonoring.
In the same period, Shalimar police registered two cases of fake cheques and one case of kidnapping, Golra, Industrial area and Noon police stations registered one case each of auto theft while Shehzad Town, Koral and Margalla police registered one case each of kidnapping.
