As polling time ended for the Local Government elections in Punjab and Sindh on Saturday, 774 candidates were elected unopposed in both provinces. The chairmen for four Union Councils (UC) in Lahore Metropolitan Corporation were elected unopposed. Meanwhile, 707 candidates for 472 UCs, 14 Municipals and 54 Town Committees were elected unopposed.
