ISLAMABAD: Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) MNA Khusro Bakhtar Saturday said nominating Sardar Usman Buzdar as Punjab Chief Minister was the first step towards making new province of South Punjab and people of the area were happy on Prime Minister Imran Khan's decision regarding Punjab CM.

Talking to a private news channel, he said it was happened first time that after Gulam Mustafa Khar a person was nominated as chief minister Punjab from South Punjab area.

He said Buzdar had experience of local government because he served the people as district Nazim and Member Provincial Assembly in the past.
