On Friday, at Pakistan Mercantile Exchange (PMEX) value traded was PKR 7.14 billion. The number of lots traded was 38.64 million. PMEX Commodity Index closed at 2,560. Major business was contributed by gold amounting to PKR 6.99 billion. This was followed by silver (PKR 135.04 million), crude oil (PKR 5.22 million) and cotton (PKR 2.94 million).
