Livestock sector KP government concentrating on development

Special Assistant to KP CM on Livestock, Mohibullah Khan has said that the development of livestock sector play crucial role in economic stability, saying the provincial government is taking all possible steps for livestock farmers.
He expressed these views while addressing the foundation stone laying ceremony of new building for Animal Husbandry at Kabal, Swat. Those present on the occasion were included MNA Murad Saeed, District Director, Livestock Bakht Alam Khan and other concerned officials.
Mohibullah Khan said that medicines for different diseases of livestock at available in the veterinary hospitals of Swat, which is provided free of cost to farmers and in case of any complaints in the provision of medicines and any other matter then can report it to him so it could be redressed with immediate effect. He said that as the development of our rural areas is mostly depending on livestock, therefore, the provincial government is not only concentrating on the development of the sector and in short span of two and half year it had put the department of livestock on the track of development.
He said that during previous governments, the livestock sector in Swat was totally ignored, but now the present provincial government is going to complete two complete two projects including Azakheli Buffalos Farm at Charbagh and Sanam Goat Farm at the cost of Rs 120 million and Rs 15 million respectively.
