Prime Minister appoints new ambassadors, HCs

Prime Minister Nawaz Sharif has appointed a number of new ambassadors and high commissioners in important world capitals to represent Pakistan in their respective countries of appointment. Those appointed included the incumbent spokesperson for Ministry of Foreign Affairs Qazi Khalilullah in Russian Federation, Johar Saleem in Germany, Moin ul Haq in France, Mazhar Javed in Nepal, Afrasiab in New Zealand, Babar Hashmi in Bulgaria, Zahid Ali in Sudan and Chaudhry Nadir in Morocco.
Similarly, Jabbar Memon was appointed as Pakistan Consul General in Los Angeles, USA and Ahmad Naseem Waraich as Consul Generals in Frankfurt, Germany. According to a handout issued by Prime Minister House, the ambassadors designate Consul Generals also called on the Prime Minister on Tuesday at the PM House.
Talking to them, the Prime Minister said that ambassadors have to work hard in their respective countries of accreditation for improving bilateral relations and enhancement in the positive image of Pakistan. The meeting was also attended by Special Assistant to the Prime Minister Tariq Fatemi, Foreign Secretary Aizaz Ahmad Chaudhry and other senior officers.
