Dr Iqbal Durani, Secretary to the Chief Minister Sindh inaugurated a newly constructed girls Hostel at Liaquat University of Medical & Health Sciences Jamshoro. While addressing at the Inaugural Ceremony the Vice Chancellor, Professor Noshad A Shaikh informed that the hostel has a capacity for accommodating 260 students with all the modern facilities. The name of the new Hostel has been decided as "Rida Fatima Girls Hostel" which is in the memory of a girl student of this university who expired few years back in the hostel due to snake bite.
