On Tuesday, at Pakistan Mercantile Exchange (PMEX), value traded was PKR 4,189 million. The number of lots traded was 20.11 million. PMEX Commodity Index increased by 0.84 percent and closed at 2,573. Major business was contributed by gold amounting to PKR 3,299 million followed by crude oil (PKR 768.63 million), silver (PKR 119.70 million) and cotton (PKR 2.27 million).
