On Monday, at Pakistan Mercantile Exchange (PMEX), value traded was PKR 4,998 million. The number of lots traded was 28.96 million. PMEX Commodity Index increased by 0.49 percent and closed at 2,551. Major business was contributed by gold amounting to PKR 4,318 million followed by crude oil (PKR 446.19 million), silver (PKR 218.07 million) and cotton (PKR 15.44 million).
