On Friday, at Pakistan Mercantile Exchange (PMEX), value traded was PKR 9,539 million. The number of lots traded was 55.65 million. PMEX Commodity Index closed at 2,539. Major business was contributed by gold amounting to PKR 8,610 million. This was followed by crude oil (PKR 646.63 million), silver (PKR 269.55 million) and cotton (PKR 12.97 million).
