CG Japan lauds government policies on security, investment climate

The Consul-General of Japan in Karachi, Akira Ouchi has said Pakistan is a country with great potential for economic growth. Delivering a lecture on "Bilateral Relations between Japan and Pakistan" to the students and faculty members of Indus University in Karachi, he appreciated the initiatives of the present government for improvement of law and order and investment climate in the country.
"Under the initiatives of the government, we hope to see the improvement of investment climate, including improvement of law and order situation, stable energy and electricity supply". About 150 students and faculty members from various faculties attended the lecture. The audience keenly listened to the Consul-General Ouchi's lecture and a lively question and answer session ensued, in which audiences' interests were mainly related to Japan and Pakistan's bilateral relations and some information in regard to studying in Japan.
