Mixed trend seen on grain market

Mixed trend prevailed on the wholesale grain market on Wednesday amid hectic trading activity, dealers said. On the cereals side Masoor Canada low type lost Rs 500 to Rs 8500 and the best type followed same trend, losing Rs 200 to Rs 9000, Masoor Dall Canada fell by Rs 100 to Rs 10300 and Rs 10600, Urad Burma, however, gained Rs 3350 to Rs 18000, Gur low type picked up Rs 500 to Rs 8000 and the good type was higher by Rs 300 to Rs 8500, other commodities maintained overnight levels, they added.
On the grams sector, grams Australia No 1 rose by Rs 200 to Rs 8600, Grams Dall 50x50 gained Rs 250 to Rs 9500, they said. On the rice side, Irri-6 Sindh low type was lower by Rs 10 to Rs 2750 and the best quality was down by Rs 30 to Rs 2760, other items maintained overnight levels, they said. On the seeds side, cottonseeds oilcake with bag low quality picked up Rs 60 to Rs 1560 and the good type was up by Rs 75 to Rs 1600, they said.
