Foreign investors shy to invest in Punjab, claims Elahi

Prominent businessman of Gulf region Munir Rewan called on Pakistan Muslim League-Q (PML-Q) President and former Prime Minister Chaudhry Shujaat Hussain and senior central leader and former Deputy Prime Minister Chaudhry Parvez Elahi at their residence here and extended Eid greetings to them. On this occasion Shafay Hussain and Salik Hussain were also present.
Talking on the occasion, Chaudhry Parvez Elahi said that during our tenure agreements were being signed between Punjab and Middle East countries for mutual co-operation, the country was making progress and whose living example was agreement for the construction of 60-storey Al-Nahyan Shopping Centre in Lahore. But due to inefficiency of the present rulers and their defective policies, foreign investors were not investing in the country particularly in Punjab. Moreover, Chairman LPG Association of Pakistan Irfan Khokhar also met Chaudhry brothers and discussed matters of mutual interests.
