LSE decides to de-list Medi Glass Ltd

The Lahore Stock Exchange (LSE) Limited, after due consideration of facts and circumstances and in exercise of the powers vested in it under Section 19(4) of the Securities Act, 2015 and Listing Regulations of the Exchange, has decided to delist Medi Glass Limited from the Ready Board Quotation of the Exchange w.e.f., September 28, 2015.
After the de-listing of this company the number of Companies listed at LSE would reach to 433, a spokesman of the LSE said. It may be noted that the Medi Glass Limited was listed at the Lahore Stock Exchange (LSE) in the year 1990 and its total paid up capital is Rs 75.938 million.
The Company was under violation of Listing Regulations No. 30(1)(b)(d)(e)(g) of the Exchange ie, non-holding of AGM, has gone into liquidation through Court Order, non-payment of annual listing fee and non induction of ordinary shares of the Company into CDS of the Central Depository Company of Pakistan Limited. Trading in the shares of the Company was suspended w.e.f. August 16, 2015.
