Shikarpur police killed three notorious bandits in an encounter, which followed a raid on a village near Madeji area on Monday morning. As per detail, rapidly acting on an information about the presence of a gang of notorious bandits, Shikarpur police conducted search in a village of Dahani community near Madeji on Monday morning. The search operation ensue in an encounter, wherein three criminals were killed.
The accused include two notorious bandits, Rashid Rind and Aman alias Amano Tunio and the nephew of Rasheed Rind Javed Rind. A policeman Shamsuddin Jatoi was also martyred in the encounter while another cop Wasim Mirani sustained injuries. The injured cop was rushed to Chandka Medical College Hospital.
Both the bandits were carrying head money of rupees one million each. Amano Tunio was involved in killing of Rangers DSR Abdul Jabbar Abbasi and others. Likewise Rasheed Rind was a hardened criminal who was heading several gangs involved in looting, robberies, murders, car and motorcycle snatching and other heinous crimes.
