Deputy Commissioner (D.C) Swat has suspended six employees of health and education departments for showing negligence and carelessness in anti-polio drive in the district. Departmental proceedings have also been directed against the suspended officials.
DC Swat Mahmood Aslam Wazir by himself is monitoring the anti-polio campaign in the district and the other day he visited different areas where the children were not administered polio drops.
He suspended the concerned government officials and directed departmental proceedings against them. He has warned that those showing negligence in anti-polio drive will face stern action.
