Grams prices down on grain market

Grams prices were lower on the local grain market on Saturday in the process of modest trading, dealers said. On the grams side, grams Australia No 1 was down by Rs 200 to Rs 8500, Grams Australia No 2 also shed Rs 200 to Rs 9300, yellow peas Russia lost Rs 75 to Rs 3450 and yellow peas Dall Russia fell by Rs 150 to Rs 3950, they said.
On the cereals side, Moong Punjab lost Rs 500 to Rs 9250, Moong Afghan followed same pattern, losing Rs 600 to Rs 9500, Urad Burma, however, inched up by Rs 25 to Rs 14650, other commodities maintained overnight levels, they said. On the rice sector, Irri-6 Sindh low type was down by Rs 20 to Rs 2780 and the good quality was lower by Rs 50 to Rs 2850, they added. On the seed side, cottonseeds oilcake with bag Sindh new low type was higher by Rs 25 to Rs 1475 while the best quality was unchanged at Rs 1525, they said.
