On Wednesday, at Pakistan Mercantile Exchange (PMEX), value traded was PKR 5,626 million as compared to PKR 4,178 million a day ago. The number of lots traded was 34.591 million. PMEX Commodity Index closed at 2,4,90. Major business was contributed by gold amounting to PKR 5,077 million followed by crude oil (PKR 518 million) and silver (PKR 30.38 million).
