The Federal Board of Revenue (FBR) has discontinued performance allowance of 806 (BS-16) officials of Customs Department belonging to various cadres. According to a notification issued by the FBR here on Thursday, on failure to comply with the instructions circulated vide Circular dated 23.07.2012 and FBR letters addressed to various field formations and non-filers, Performance Allowance admissible to the following BS-16 officials of Customs Department belonging to various cadres is hereby discontinued with immediate effect for a period of three months or filing of their Declaration of Assets, whichever is later.
These officials have failed to submit their Declaration of Assets as envisaged vide para 7(vii) of Guidelines for Performance Allowance 2015, Government Servants (Conduct Rules)1964 and Conduct, Efficiency & Discipline of Esta Code 2010.
