Army provides protective equipment to Sindh Police

Pakistan Army on Wednesday provided ammunition and other protective equipment worth Rs 65 million to Sindh Police on the directives of Chief of the army staff at Corps Headquarters Karachi. At the headquarters, bullet proof jackets, protective helmets and ammunition was given to IG Sindh Police Ghulam Haider Jamali in a formal ceremony. Senior Pakistan Army and Police officials were also present.
Chief of the Army Staff General Raheel Sharif approved to provide these equipments during apex committee meeting on 14th May 2015. The equipments which were provided to police were worth Rs 65 million, said an ISPR release.
