Naheed Khan asked Benazir to come out of car: driver

An Anti-Terrorism Court (ATC) on Wednesday recorded the statement of driver, Javedur Rehman in the Benazir Bhutto murder case. He said that Naheed Khan asked the PPP chairperson to come out of the car. The ATC summoned a report from the Foreign Ministry regarding the statement of US journalist Mark Siegel statement which was to be recorded through a video link. Judge Rai Muhammad Ayub Marth held the hearing of the case in Adiala Jail. Rehman appeared before the court and recorded his statement. Cross-questioning of driver has been completed.
The ATC summoned prosecution's witness Professor Azam Yousaf to the next hearing. The hearing was adjourned until Sept 14.
