Opposition parties are protesting outside the Election Commission of Pakistan (ECP) in Islamabad against the alleged rigging in general elections held on July 25.

The parties protesting outside the ECP are Pakistan Muslim League-Nawaz (PML-N), Pakistan Peoples Party (PPP), Awami National Party (ANP),  Pakhtunkhwa Milli Awami Party (PkMAP), National Party (NP), Qaumi Watan Party (QWP) and Muttahida Majlis-i-Amal (MMA).

Senior leaders from the parties, such as Yousuf Raza Gilani, Khursheed Shah, Sherry Rehman, Ahsan Iqbal, are among some of the leaders who are protesting. PML-N President Shehbaz Sharif and MMA chief Maulana Fazlarul Rehman are expected to arrive as well.
