Upward trend on grain market

An upward trend was seen on the local grain market on Monday in the process of modest trading, dealers said. On the cereals side, Moong Punjab was higher by Rs 50 to Rs 10875, Moong Afghan did not move any side due to balanced demand and supply, Urad Burma gained Rs 50 to Rs 14750, wheat new Bardan picked up Rs 50 to Rs 3275, they said.
On the grams side, grams Dall Australia No 2 rose by Rs 352 to Rs 9400, other items maintained overnight levels, they said. On the seeds side, cottonseeds oilcake with bag Sindh new low type inched up by Rs 5 to Rs 1480 and inferior quality was lower by Rs 25 to Rs 1500, they said. Prices were unchanged on the rice sector, they said.
