FCCI elections: six candidates of corporate class nominated unopposed

Six candidates of corporate class were nominated unopposed against six seats for the elections 2015-2016 of Faisalabad Chamber of commerce and Industry. Out of total 13 vacant seats, 21 nomination papers were filed on Thursday. The six papers against six seats of corporate class were filed by Jameel Ahmad of Perfect Home Tax, Zahid Rasheed of Shafee Spinning Mills Ltd, Amir Nisar of Nisar Fabrics, Muhammad Shafique of Al-Noor Processing and Textille Mills Pvt Ltd, Muhammad Saeed of Kausar Processing Industries Ltd and Ahmad Hasan of Chenab Engineering Works and Foundry Pvt Ltd.
One nomination paper was filed against one reserved seat for women and it was filed by Nighat Shahid of Shan Industries. 14 candidates are in the run for the six seats of associate class. The applicants for these seats are Gulzar Ahmad of Green Agri Seed, Rana Raees Ahmad Khan of Urban Enterprises, Rashid Munir of AA Munir Dyes and Chemical, Chaudhary Talat Mehmood of Talat Mahmood Cutpiece Dealer, Muhammad Aslam Bhali of Muhammad Aslam, Muhammad Khalid of Al Rehman International, Tauseef Ahmad of Hi Tec Computer, Muhammad Asghar of Al Madina Tyres, Mian Abdul Wahid of Hawk International, Amjad Ali of Amjad Brothers, Muhammad Nawaz of Ahmad Nawaz Weaving Factory, Muhammad Saeed Iqbal of Zec Associate, Sikandar Azam Khan of Rao Corporation and Abdul Shakoor of Comtex Consultants. Senior member of FCCI election commission Shahid Ahmad Sheikh said that the election process would be completed in a fair and free manner following the election schedule.
