Governor and chief minister GB meet CM Punjab

Governor Gilgit-Baltistan Barjees Tahir and Chief Minister Hafiz Hafeez-ur-Rehman met Punjab Chief Minister Muhammad Shahbaz Sharif, here Sunday. Matters of mutual interest and important issues were discussed in the meeting.
Chief Minister Shehbaz Sharif expressed deep sense of sorrow and grief over the loss of human lives and property due to flood in Gilgit-Baltistan. He said that Pakistan is our country and collective efforts are needed to transform it in accordance with the ideals of Quaid-e-Azam and Allama Muhammad Iqbal. He said that Pakistan Muslim League-N government led by Prime Minister Muhammad Nawaz Sharif has achieved a number of important successes and national economy has substantially improved.
Provincial Minister for Food Bilal Yasin was also present on the occasion.
Meanwhile Federal Minister for Railways Khawaja Saad Rafiq called on Punjab Chief Minister Muhammad Shahbaz Sharif, during the day. Matters of mutual interest and country's situation were discussed during the meeting. Speaking on the occasion, the Chief Minister said that the whole nation is united to curb extremism, terrorism and sectarianism. He said that terrorists have no religion and they are enemies of Pakistan and its people. He said that the nefarious designs of terrorists will be thwarted with the force of unity of 180 million people of the country. The Chief Minister further said that the brave armed forces of Pakistan are writing a new history of sacrifices in the war against terrorism and achieving glorious successes in operation Zarb-e-Azb. He said that terrorists and their facilitators will be eliminated from the country.
