Modest business on grain market

Some changes were seen on the local grain market on Saturday in the process of trading, dealers said. On the cereals side, Moong Punjab was lower by Rs 475 to Rs 9000 and Moong Afghan also lost Rs 125 to Rs 12000, Gur prices were up by Rs 200 to Rs 7700 and Rs 8200, other commodities held the overnight levels, they said.
On the grams side, gram Australia No 1 was down by Rs 100 to Rs 8400, other items fluctuated during the day, but closing was seen at the overnight levels, they said. On the rice sector, Irri-6 Sind gained Rs 25 to Rs 2850 and Rs 2950, they said. On the seeds side, cottonseeds oilcake with bag Sindh (old) low type was lower by Rs 50 to Rs 1500 and the good variety was higher by Rs 50 to Rs 1650, cottonseeds oilcake with bag Sindh (new) quoted at Rs 1625 and Rs 1650, they added.
