A man was killed while four others, including a girl injured, in separate incidents of violence, here on Tuesday. According to police and rescue sources, Ibrahim Ahmad, son of Anwar Ahmad, was shot and killed by unidentified men in Orangi Town No 10. The body of the victim was shifted to Abbasi Shaheed Hospital (ASH) for post-mortem.
In another incident, Areeba, 16, daughter of Iftikhar, was shot and injured by unknown persons in Landhi, Babar Market. She was rushed to Jinnah Postgraduate Medical Centre (JPMC) for treatment. Similarly, Asghar, son of Siddique, was injured by an armed assailant in Landhi Raidi Goth. He was moved to JPMC for medical assistance. In separate incidents, Yaqoob, son of Abdul Rehman, was hit by a stray bullet in Patel Para; whereas Ali Raza, son of Jamaluddin, was injured by unknown men near Iqbal Market police station.
