Andrew Strauss told the media, “I’m certainly determined to come back in Abu Dhabi and I’m sure the rest of the guys are too.” “What we need to do is to make sure that we should not play this type of cricket in the next match,” he added.

“We will look at the mistakes of the first match and try to learn from it,” said the England skipper.

Jonathan Trott, the only player who was not the victim of Saeed Ajmal’s blistering bowling said, “Being a part of this England team for two or three years, we've had a few losses and we've managed to bounce back in the following game.”

“We look forward to do that again - and being cohesive and playing well together and knowing each others’ games so well, it’s just a matter of time to get back on to the winning track again,” said an optimistic Trott.

“It is really necessary, in practice, to get back from the last match.”

“But what happened, happened, and we're looking to level it in the second game,” a determined Trott added.
